BlackBerry announced today that its new BBM Video calls function is on its way and will be released in July this year. However, the current version is already implemented as a beta feature for users living in the US and Canada. It is worth mentioning that both users of iOS and Android will have the opportunity to experiment with this new feature.
Today is standard that every time a company launches a new functionality for its application, tend to give access to beta countries with the largest number of users. As a result, many people from different countries such as England, China, France, and many others will not be able to use the BBM video call application until it has been a while.
But if you are one of those users do not worry, because if you currently have an iPhone and accounts jailbroken, you can skip this restriction because we can have a tweak called BBMVideoCall that can activate the call BBM in all parts of a world. It means that if users live anywhere else besides the United States or Canada, will also be able to use the video call service BBM now.
For the new video call feature displayed on your BlackBerry messaging application, all you have to do is download or upgrade to the latest version of the Apple App Store or Google Play. Unlike in the past where users have to request a trial, this time, no pre – approval. While the latest version is downloaded, this feature will be included automatically.
But for those who live outside the US and Canada, there are only a few simple steps:
- Open Cydia and wait for all packages loaded.
- Click on the search tab and write BBMVideoCall to install on our device.
- Finally, we respring and open the BBM application from the home screen.
As noted by the creator, we will not see any option available when we have installed the tweak. Once it is installed on the iPhone with a jailbreak, the package must activate BBM video call automatically.
